Steve’s distinctive compositions are deeply influenced by his fine art education at the Corcoran Gallery of Art located in Washington, DC. His multi-decade career includes invaluable years traveling the world and assisting renowned National Geographic photographer, Richard Nowitz.

Publications
Steve’s work has taken him around the world. He’s photographed travel destinations for Condé Nast and World Magazine, and as a photojournalist for Greenpeace, he documented toxic environments for national advertising campaigns—work that demanded honesty, sensitivity, and impact.
One of the most meaningful assignments of his career brought Steve to the Badlands of South Dakota, where he lived among the Lakota Sioux. While there, he created a photographic series documenting their culture, resilience, and the effects of the modern world on their way of life. That project cemented his belief that photography should preserve truth and emotion—not just appearances.
